manual/auto tranny swap

have a 1947 chev truck with a 292 inline six and a 4speed manual tranny. do to a knee and leg accident and an operation i can no longer work a manual transmission. want to swap with a doner 73 powerglide auto tranny , will it marry up and what can i do about rear engine mounts. tnx for any help
