On the small block, you can put one in with minimal fuss. A motor mount kit is the best route...although, they are a bit expensive. A ford Tempo alluminum rad is a great junk yard rad for the cause. Your rear end will hold up no problem. An O/D automatic seems to be the tranny of choice.
