1949 Ford 1/2 ton JD field truck...

I'm more than half way in the resto process on a stock '49 Ford, am starting to think about paint schemes and was considering JD green body/blk. fenders and decalling with JD logos as a field Rep. truck. Have a few old JD tractors restored to go along with this truck. Were trucks of this year used as field units and or would I be better off just going with stock colors. Any thoughts?
