IHC Truck SpecificationsPosted by Johnc(ks) on April 30, 2003 at 14:27:02 from (130.76.96.17):
I was recently told to "come and get" a mid 1950's IHC pickup truck that my cousin started to restore about 25 years ago. He had it running and drove it for a while before he died. I believe he said it was a 3/4 ton model. The truck is in another state, and I won't know exactly what it is until I show up with a trailer. Does anyone know of a web site where I can find specifications on these trucks; i.e. the difference between L, R, and S in the model number, as well as the meaning of 110, 120, etc. I'm specifically interested in empty weight so I can anticipate how much trouble I'll have getting it home. Any info will help. Thanks.
