Thanks for the info. Red Raider. I had been to that FAQ section before, but I wasn't smart enough to find the model number info. The cousin who owned this truck was a mechanic by trade. He overhauled the engine and did some drivetrain work to it after he got it (about 25 years ago). He drove it for a couple of years and parked it because it had brake problems and couldn't find parts (I'm hoping to have better luck finding parts). He drove it to a family reunion once, and all I remember is that it was a very wide vehicle and it had a smooth running in-line six engine. His sister thinks that the truck is a '55 or '56 model, which would make it either an R or S model. I wish I could make a trip down there ahead of time to make measurements and find out the exact model, but I won't have that luxury. The NADA website lists an empty weight of 3500 to 3800 lbs (depending on the model), so I should probably be looking for at least a 6 1/2 foot wide tandem-axle flatbed trailer with no rails. Thanks again.
