This language stuff is tough, we have one word for it in our area of BC and you guys have lots of words for it in the US. The canopy is made of Fiberglass has a sliding window in the front just like the truck, a sliding window on each side, a fixed window each side and a lift up rear window door. There is about four feet of vertical room inside. So as a bed it is the same size as the truck box. A couple of the windows leak a bit so I will have to fix that. I can put a heavy rack on top for the fishing boat. When I go to Vancouver Island they charge extra at the ferry for over height and over length. When I took the 21 foot sailboat on a trailer we were 51 feet long from the bicycle rack on the front bumper to the outboard prop on the boat and over height with the camper. I may have to pay a little for height with the boat on top of the canopy but no more $$ for extra length, and this thing goes through the air so much easier. I am amazed I did not think of it sooner. It was my wifes idea. BC Mike C
