Fusible links getting weak, these are in the wire down by the starter. But if I had to bet it's more than likely the gnition switch itself. This is a switch mouned under the dash along the steering column. There is a rod coming down along the column that is actuated by the key, the rod moves the switch and moves the switch into it's 4 positions off, accy, on, and start. The switch is held on by 2 small screw which can be loosened so you can adjust the position of the switch. Could just be out of adjustment, or it may be bad. Last time I bought one they were under $20 so it should be a cheap fix.
