Thank you all for for your feed back. I would think that 10,000 lbs for cab chassis and 14 foot flatbed dump would be close. I will get it weighted once licenced to be sure.

Obviously the 24000 max weight is the way to go, I will register it for more once I get the required licence. Quite a few trucks get registered that way for part time users like me, but you need to be careful not to eat up your weight capacity with the truck alone. If I can haul 2-4 tons registered this way it is worth while.

It is a good truck purchased at auction from the farm accross the street. Want to give it a good home and also get some use out of it
