What does it mean when this happens ??????Posted by Alberta Mike on May 18, 2003 at 17:02:48 from (209.47.89.118):
My friend has a '71 GMC pickup with a 350 in it. For some reason, this spring when he put his battery in it he gets sparking at the terminal (when the last one is bolted on). Then, it'll start and work but over a day or so the battery goes dead. No alternator light comes on anytime at all. Any ideas as to what is happening (or happened)? Is something "on" in the electrical system that causes the sparking at the terminal when the battery is hooked up? Thanks for the help.
