I have a 78 Chev in pretty good shape and want to make it look better. This is my plan, grind down all the scratches and dents and horse teeth marks to shiny metal and then prime with something. Then fill those spots / dents with some kind of filler and prime. The few rust spots I will weld / glue / rivet on new pieces of metal and prime fill the same as the other bits. When it is all smooth I will warm up a can of paint and paint it. Does this sound like a reasonable plan? This is a farm truck not a show truck? BC Mike C
