You started with a bargain, but hope you have lots of spare cash. Drove 549's for several years around 1970 hauling freight. On a good day with a tail wind expect around 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 mpg on gas. Lots of brute force pulling power, & with the cab suspension rides nice. Have fun, really enjoyed driving them.
