It is mechanical. I will crawl under and take a look at the adjustment but I don't think that is the problem. It could be that the clutch is just not strong enough. The trailer puts about 2000 pounds or more of weight on the gooseneck hitch which gives it a lot of traction on dry ground, but I figure the engine should have stalled or the wheels should spin before the clutch slips.
