Thanks to all who answered my previous post. Have tried adjusting per e'brock instructions but still does not work. Called tech support who are convinced that the problem is with my truck and not their carb. They did say the 600cfm is designed for an engine much smaller than my 460. I called the supplier who said that edelbrock recommends the 600cfm for the 460 and suggested that I "try it awhile". I did not know that opening the car ended the warranty, fortunately I have not done that yet. I was wrong about the number, it's a 1400 not 1406.
