I had a GMC with 8.2 Detroit, 5/2 Trans,total
gross weight was 24000 and it would barely pull itself!!!It was a dog even with 5.86 rear gear.Top rating is 210 hp for this motor, Im pretty sure thats right, no one had a ny good coomments about it, I sold it.A good 3/4 or 1 ton will do better with 20k # load!!Hope this helped.
