You need to find someone with a scan tool to pull the trouble codes for you. This is an electronically controlled transmission, and anything from engine trouble to wiring trouble to computer trouble to actual mechancial trouble inside the transmission could cause the symptoms you describe. (Plus low oil, or a dirty filter!)
