Wandering RangerPosted by Dave 2N on July 23, 2003 at 17:13:50 from (205.188.208.170): This is a little bit OT but I would like to know if anyone has experienced this. I have a 94 Ranger XLT regular cab 4 x 4 with a 4.0 liter V-6 and the 15" tires. I bought it with 23,000 miles and it now has 127,000. This has been a great truck except that it has always had a tendency to wander like it's a little sloppy in the steering somewhere. Have had it serviced regularly and the place is run by a couple of pure Ford guys. They keep saying air pressure but I run 32 lbs. in the front. Finally had the front end rebuilt new springs, shocks, shims, etc. at about 85,000 miles but it still did it. No one seems to blame the steering box either. Any ideas would be appreciated.
