My Hollander manual doesn't go back that far.The 223 and 262 look almost the same. The 223 has a chain driven camshaft and most of the 262's have gear driven cams. Most of the 262's have the fuel pump on the timing cover rather than the side of the block. They will fit in the same place. The distributor gear has to be swapped out due to the reverse rotation of the cam. They all had solid lifters. Some of the later models had zero lash rockers. Not real good. The later models had half inch head bolts rather than the early 7 sixteenth.Good luck. E-mail if necessary.
