windshield replacing

I need some info on replacing the windshield on custom 69 ford f600. I bought a used windshield. Could some one post the procedure. It has chrome all around. Does this have to come off first? How do you remove it from the weatherstrip? Does it require a special tool? Etc. Thanks in advance.
