It depends what state you are in, check your state DMV regulations. If you plan to drive it a lot, and want to be safe, you can add turn lamps without butching things up, because auto parts stores, like NAPA still carry a clamp on turnsignal switch that can be attached to the steering column, it then had to be wired into the system, and if you want to do it neatly, you'll have to replace the single element bulbs and sockets in the front park lenses with dual element bulbs and sockets, your taillamps already had a dual element setup with taillamp and brakelamp combined. In the old days most farmers just drill a hold in the top of the front fenders and attached a truck turn lamp, but you probably won't want to do that to a restored truck, now would you? John in Ne.
