My local fire dept has a 1954 ford truck with only 10xxx miles on it. It is going to be sold in a couple of weeks, and the charging system isn't working right. I replaced the regulator and that seemed to help some. But, driving down the road, it will not keep a steady charge. Could the generator have a bad spot in it, or just a bad connection somewhere.
