UD 1800 truck

I know thjs is not a classic truck but lots of truck folks on this board that mitgh be able to help. I'm looking at a UD 1800 cab over truck with a toter bed. It's avery nice truck and would do what I need it to do, but the problem is I'm 6'4 and the steering wheel is in my lap and the seat also doesn't go back far enough. I can make brackets to let the seat back more but am not sure how to extend the steering coloum/steering wheel up. Anyone done anything similar/know of any alternitives?
