1963 110 int.

I was putting a seal kit in the master cylinder and i'm not totally sure how the parts go back together. There's the piston then the rubber then the spring then the valve. I'm just not to sure if the open end of the spring goes to the rubber or the valve or where the washers go. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
