Why would you want to chainge out the coils for the leaf springs? I don't have the answer to your question, however, i want to adress something else here...
The Custom Camper package did not automaticly include leaf springs, nor the Dana. The Custom camper only needed HD springs, (coil or leaf), an anti sway bar, HD shocks, and higher load rated tires. That was all that was required for the custom camper badge on any GM truck 67 - 72. I have seen them in 1/2 ton, as well as 3/4 ton. The 1/2 ton (obviously) did not have a full floater in it, but every single 3/4 ton built in 67 - 72 (and just about every other year up untill recently) came with a full floater in it. The frame on a 3/4 ton is not any thicker or anything either.
