you can swap leaves setup onot the coils frames, youll need to swap the frame mounted leaf hanger brackets of course and dirll any holes for bolts that you need to drill, factory riveted them to the frame rails but you wont be usign them anymore, use 3/8" diameter bolts and nuts and washers, is straight forward swap, oh and crosmembers in the frame rails in between them are not same, will have to cut rivets and swap them too. leaves were installed on coils and leaf type G70 frames both, 1 tons are straight rails and 1/2 and 3/4 ton frames are bowed out rear frames for coils- if so equipped. coils were std equipment and leaves came with certain axle and or drivetrain order, and G70 was the option code for leaf type rear through 72 on 1/2 and 3/4 models only,
