Brake line fix

[ View Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Return to Forum ]

Posted by Randy on September 19, 2003 at 05:13:31 from (208.44.151.58):

I have a small pin hole in one of my brake lines. Is there anyway to fix it other then replacing the whole line? Can I splice a piece in using compression fittings? Is there anything that can be wraped around the hole to stop it from leaking.
I know most people are going to say to do it right and replace the whole line but the truck has close to 300k on it and I don't drive it that much anymore, used mostly at home for hauling firewood and such. Thanks for any ideas.
