360 Dodge Problem

Posted by TBrake on October 22, 2003 at 07:50:47 from (151.121.225.1):

I'm working on a 74 W200 Dodge with a 360. It has a 2v carb and is stock except for and very mild Edelbrock cam and timing gears. I have a miss that I can not get rid of. It is not a "dead" miss. By that I mean it will run OK for a second then miss, then run OK. It does it through out the RPM range.
I have worked on engines a long time but this one has me stumped. It has good compression (120 lbs.) rebuilt heads, rebuilt carb, all new ignition parts. I have searched for a vacume leak high and low, none found. Although at an idle it only has 10in/mg of vacume. I have tried everything I know to do. So any ideas?
