In your case, I'l measure the ID and width of the brake drum, then go to the wrecking yard and find a fluid unit with the same approximate dimensions. Remember, it's outer drum diameter (must fit inside your wheels), and distance from backing plate to axle face (so brakes will fit end of axle tube to axle face) that matter. You'll also need a single hole master cylinder. You can redrill the backing plate to mount on your axle, or even cut and weld yours and the new one to work. The brake drum can be redrilled to your stud size and pattern by a reputable shop (centering is important). Be sure NEW brake wheel cylinders are available for the rig - this is not the place to try to save by reworking old rusty ones. uggestion - school busses and dump trucks. These seem to be the first ones to get "safety" items. If I was doing it, I'd take all the new parts, flush them with alcahol, then use silicone fluid. It doesn't absorb water like regular fluid - keeps vehicles that don't get used much from rusting the brake system so readily. Good luck and have fun!
