Gas Tank 1958 F-600

just saved a 1958 f-600 ford firetruck, gas tank is mounted behind the seat, the truck has been sitting outside for a good 14 years, outside of tank looks brand new, but inside is pretty messed up, is there a reasonable way to restore the inside of this tank to make it usable, or do i give up and look for a new one? where can i find one? thanks for your time. I am in western Mass.
