Saw in the local paper thaqt some guy has a nice 77 F150 4x4 for sale and clams it's nice for 4000. And buy the time ya get done with the change over and all not counting the time you would be close to that. I know what i had in a engine swap in my 78 F250 going from a 400 to a 460 , buy the time that i rebuilt the 460 change the oil pan and oil pump dip stick motor mounts exhust system ft. engine brkts for the alt. power steering pump , just to much money for and old truck and when it got hit head on buy a drunk the insurance co. did not what to give me anything for it since i modified it so i ended up losing a bunch of money.
