on the BC line of international trucks at the rear wheels they used a wheel cylinder at both top, and bottom of the shoes, and both cylinders could be turned either way, so if you didn't pay attention you could get the bleeder on the bottom of the cylinder, and would not be able to bleed all the air out of the cylinder! just a thought.
