Small block Chevy valve stem seals are nothing to brag about either! My old '70 307 Chevy used to use a quart of oil ever 125-150 miles, replaced the seals and drove 500 miles without using ANY. Bust since the valve guides were shot the engine tore up the new seals and ended up using a quart every 120-125 miles. The new '77 Pontiac I got 3-4 months later didn't use any oil however!
