The 292 Chev straight six would bolt up, BUT it will be longer than the one you have now. I dion't know about the motor mounts either.

The 292 is a powerhouse in the lower end of torque BUT it drinks gas like it had an interest in or is a major stockholder in a refinery.

Properly installed in front of a 4 speed, if you hook to anything up on wheels it will move it.
