My Son has a '93 F-150 Lightning PU. Has the E4OD transmission. 124,000 or 125,000 and only maintenance it's had We know of is a fluid & filter change. It's had the differential out either two or three times. Your correct though, It hasn't towed Anything. But it's the same tranny used behind the early PSD's. '93 was the worst year for the E4OD, PSD was late '94 release. Son installed a shift kit when He changed fluid & filter. Those '92 thru '96 & '93 Heavy Duty's are getting a reputation of being a really dependable truck. My '96 PSD turned over 234K miles yesterday.
