I need to know year/size of Chevy 6

Block numbers are 3764476 Head numbers read B21 848 850. I believe it must be a 55-62 year motor because it doesn't have the acorn type nuts on the valve cover and although it has the front motor mount under the harmonic balancer, it has the side mounts cast in like was used in the 60's and later. I need to buy some parts for it and need to order the right stuff. Thanks for any help. It is in a 50 truck but isn't original.
