Ford Super Duty EnginePosted by Pollack Pete on January 02, 2004 at 05:14:37 from (208.255.152.227):
I recently bought a used engine to put in my 1969 F-850 tandem axle dump.My truck has a 477.The new, used engine is supposedly a 534.How can I tell the difference? The 401 , 477 , and 534 all look identical from the outside.Any casting numbers or plates on the engine? Thanks.
