Looked at a new F-150, no coil springs in the front end, McPherson Struts, lower A-Arms made out of aluminum. Didn't check Ford, but new Chevy (along with others) don't even have a gas pedal cable, its electronic. Maybee need the extended warranty. Also no grease fittings on the front end.
