Whats wrong with trans?

Can anyone give me some heads up before I tear into my 1979 C6 Bronco transmission. It will pull a slight bit when cold in any forward gear and not at all when warmed up. Pulls great in reverse.
I changed filter and fluid. Has 84,000 original miles on it. I have rebuilt a couple C4's but no C6's. Just wanting to know what to look for. Thanks guys.
