Everyone is afraid of a tank in the cab, however, i feel that in a typical accident, that is the only practical place to have it and be safe.
It takes a heck of an impact to get to the tank if it is in the cab. So if you get it boiled out and any leaks sealed, then there will be no fire hazzard in the cab or anything.
I say keep it.
