Personally I'd keep it in the cab, it was safe enough when it was built, never heard of one rusting holes in it when in the cab, you'd sure be aware of it immediately. Not so underneath, might loose a hundred dollars in gas before it became apparent. Sometimes updates just for the sake of being *modern* makes more work than its worth. John in Nebr.
