Didn't say Ford's were junk but anything this old is sure to need some repairs and you sure need deep pockets to work on an old Ford ! Besides, if you take care of your truck it doesn't matter what kind is - they will all treat you as you treat them. The real key here is picking the one that has had the best care in it's lifetime.
