Bob, Thanks a ton! I have to reach under the exhaust manifold to clearly see the sending unit. It is mounted on the passenger side, however I don't know what motor it came from, nor do I know for sure that the dash gage cluster is original to the truck, this chevy has been resurrected with quite a few pieces. The installed temperature gauge is 100 to 260, and from what I've read, I have to get the 3/8" pie threaded sender. Again, thanks for all the info, I am going to tear into it tonight. I think I'll get the motor hot , read the gauge, and then ohmmeter the sender for reference. Thanks, Dennis.
