I have a 1994 GMC with the 350 gas engine.
30 gallon gas tank. I put 19 gallone of diesel in the tank. I drained out 15 gallons. I refilled with gas. Put STP treatment in gas. Was low on power for a while, then ran fine.I have driven about 400 miles when the valves started tapping and the oil pressure drope about 10 lbs. The oil was over filled by about 2 quarts and very thin.
I changed the oil, refilled with 10w 40. The oil pressure is back up, the lifter are quite. 246,000 miles on engine, electril fuel pump, throttle body injedtion. How did the diesel get into the oil?
