Chevy 216 and John Deere Piston Swap??

[ View Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Return to Forum ]

Posted by AWB on April 12, 2002 at 07:03:54 from (205.188.199.159):

I have heard that a Chevy 6 cylinder 216 cu. engine piston will fit in a John Deere LA (2-cylinder) tractor engine. Does anyone out there have any experience with this? New pistons from John Deere are extremely expensive. Thanks, AWB
