I don't have a lowup. but, it's no big problem putting them in. Getting the old one out is the hard part. The thrust bearing goes UNDER the axle with the outer part to the top, so that the grease can enter the bearing from the lower busing. You will find some shims in the kit. It's rare that you will need to use these. Note the bottom and top of the kingpin. The place for the wedge bolt is further from one end than the other..I have a A100 (69) van that I hope tobe rid of before I have to replace the kingpibns.
