Hi fellas. I have a 1973 F250 Camper Special with a New Process 4-speed and a 390 V8 with 4-barrel carb. Just wondered what kind of horsepower this was rated for. I know a standard run of the mill 390 is about 255 with a 2-barrel. The Camper Specials had 4-barrels and a bit more power, but I've never been able to see what the beast is rated. Any ideas? Any input on the value of a 390? I brought a load of wood up North on the freeway and got about 16 m.p.g. I was impressed cause I know a 460 would drink more.
