Expect somewhere around 300 to 320 for a healthy engine (low miles/nearly new/stock rebuild) as a ballpark guess based on 1970 specs.

The ratings method was changed over after 1972 to better reflect loaded averages off the assembly line and were derived as a "Net" rating as opposed to the old "gross" ratings. (this was partly due to insurance companies complaining to the manufacturers). Trucks were not subject to the same smog requirements as cars, and with the exception of California emmisions compliant vehicles, the smog equipment did hit trucks until after 1979.
