where is the evaportor on my 73 F350 with factory

I thought i had all the parts to put the factory air back on my truck.I have the condensor, compressor, dryer ,and some of the hoses.I looked over at the heater core ,but no plumbing for the AC. The interior controls say (air conditioning),and the factory wiring is in place.
Where did they put that evaporator?
The interior control slides don't have a place to select AC, but has Air conditioning written out in the center of the panel.Is there a missing switch to turn on the AC?
