diesel pickups

Does anyone know of a compact diesel(4cyl) out there? I'm wondering if toyota or dodge ever made one and if they were any good? I drive 100 mi aday round trip to work and would like to try and save a couple bucks if possible. My 87 s10 is reliabe enough but only gets 22 mpgs. thanks guys Dan In Amsterdam Mo.-GREAT FORUM!
