When I was youngster there was a fellow in my area that had a 6 cyl rail dragster!! Gas burner at first then he built a motor to run on alcohol. he won a lot of trophys at the local track (New England Dragway Epping, NH)I have no idea as to how it was set up. This was in the mid 60's, I dont imagine there was much aftermarket stuff available back then.
Clifford Research made a carb, manifold,cam kit. I put one on my 1977 232 AMC six in a cj-5, went like a "raped ape".
